Can a game controller be used for game ?  Not one for playstation but one made for pc games .

Not sure, maybe. 

I only know you can use a Playstation 4 controller, and an Xbox one controller.

got controller installed , it will reconize all the buttons , but the 2 little joystick things i cant gat to work

I’ve also been testing different controllers for PC and older games, and sometimes it’s not as simple as just plug and play. Some games need proper key mapping or Windows “preferred device” settings before the controller works correctly.
