Can someone give me a quick over view? I have a X52 and need to set my axis settings for vehicles and tanks and been gone so long I forgot how. Thanks

Cant anyone help? I remember being able to use tanks with just the joystick but I forgot how to map it in settings. I also remember once being able to use a separate throttle and my rudders too as brakes. Im just trying to cut corners to get up to speed again and use separate, now Logictech, software to map my controllers. Ive searched all over for these settings, maybe someone can point me in the right direction and I'll figure it out myself. Thanks. I forgot everything.
