Actually it was low on supply, giving the AB is risky as hell for us, but it was that or lose the town due to supply.

As the one who executed this, let me explain train of thought.

1) my town is relatively low on supply. I’ll open up link FBs to get FMSs in.

2) I now have the supply to make it a fight, even tho we can’t spawn tanks in town.

3) drive my truck from backline fb to your fb undetected, pop it, boot AO, and watch SD climb.

might I add, there was another 20+ mins of fighting after fallback occurred. It’s not like we went 30 seconds to boot AO.

Well, to be fair. They could have been low, nonetheless.

the AO got placed 14:55 (my time) ... the first cap was 15:13 ... the fallback was 15:19 ...

so in TZ1 with low population and barely anything happening ingame ... you think their supply was low ? :D

they also have 2 links they can drive supply trucks from

Inf supply most likely fine ... but no Mattys left anymore ...

And doing that we can not spawn them. So no it was not about Matty's it was about supply for boots.

Inf supply not all that and a bag of chips, it got hit pretty hard about 6-7 hours ago.

I think you’ve been around long enough to know supply takes 15+ hrs to return. So things hit last night I have to deal with in the morning hours.

sure you can ... from the 2 upcoming FBs close to town

you get remaining garrison supply in CPs plus the supply from link CPs plus the FB supply

normally ppl run defense FRUs from nearby towns to help the DO. but doing a fallback is just another level of downgrade

garrisons should not be able to perform a fallback anyway. only flags should be able to

but i see that this technique will be executed very often from now on ... so hopefully it gets fixed

You do know the power to do a fall back as been around and available to be used by both sides for well over a decade?

Can't believe the title reads "Newest AHC trick".  That is just comical, like there is a vast conspiracy we have in place.  Sigh... It's not, we are just using some old school rules.

What flag was in Tienen?
Last time I attempted this, the fallback was disallowed because there was no flag in town.

Was there a flag in town?  If not, how did system let you fallback?

 No flag.

ive noticed, in air/naval towns, fallback doesn’t work right.

to add, while this was all going down, I was driving my [censored] full throttle from jodo AB to tienen. So we did kinda expend most options lol

I can't believe this but i'm with Undercover.

The fight could have easily carried on as was. Axis were underpop. Allies may have lost 1 town. 1!!

[censored] move. Plenty of supply in 2 other towns.

utter bull[censored]. the inf supply was the reason fallback was done. No one drove a matty up in the time i was there which was until the AO was bounced. It's a coded game mechanic, Delems even said he's tried using it. so it's something you only want one side to use, the one you play on? LOL

Fallback or not the FB was capped by us anyhow, attack would have been over either way.

Also fallback is very risky, which is why it is not used often at all. It is nothing new and been present in the game for as long as I can remember. If you had the FB and we did not get it so easily then that fallback could have screwed us over.

IIRC, you weren't able to fallback without a flag pre-ToES (so a long time ago). This could easily be my hazy memory, so apologies in advance should I be incorrect.

I don't frequent these forums anymore as whenever I do, the losing side (or perhaps, the few vocal players from that particular side) will call out bias / nerf / foul gameplay / whatever makes it seem more controversial - a quick scan through these pages disappointedly shows that the few continue to discourage the many - how many new players who look here would think we actually enjoy playing?

It's entirely boring and predictable, and frankly, all very immature for an association of fully-grown adults.

Here's a thought, how about a debate on the action and whether we feel that this manoeuvre should be permitted rather than going on a full-on attack toward a fellow player of our beloved little game? Too much to ask?

Some of you lot would argue with yourself if you're the last player logged in.

Hope you are calling Delems all the right names too , he was doing these quite a few camps ago.
