Throttle not getting 100 % power

In 'game controllers' it shows my throttle still leaving 8 percent or so from full power even at the top of the throw.

Is there a way to compensate for this in game?  Will the dead zones help?  I'm thinking I could put a dead zone at the top end.  Would that fix it?

Did you try to recalibrate?

Deadzone  will fix it. Just makes the throttle more sensitive

This worked.  I put deadzones at both ends just to be sure, because I had to reverse my throttle to get it to work right, and didn't know which end needed a deadzone. 

I see the slight area when I first move the throttle before it actually starts to accelerate, so I'm betting it's doing the same thing at the top end.  Thanks.
