All my settings are not there, or not loaded.

Never seen that in 10 years?

On a Mac, just tried to change them, then save and exit.

Goes back to like brand new install?

update: Just tried a screen shot, it did save it in the WWIIOnline->screenshots directory

New update: downloaded new install off website, does same thing - won't load prefs.

UPDATE2:  Fixed, see below for how I did it.

Maybe just mind your own business?

Anyways, I moved my prefs out to desktop.

Made sure there was no prefs; started game and quit; it made new prefs folder.

Then I deleted everything in the new folder and coping the desktop items into it.

Now is working.  Very odd.

*** Why not just create a support ticket instead of making a forum topic about it since it only affects you?

Since you're so smart.... how do you know it only effects me?

*** I'll give you some space.

Think of that next time before you post.

  • CORNERED RAT

Sometimes both Mac and Windows in their infinite wisdom and for some reason known to only them, mess around with the permissions settings within the documents folder and cause the described effects. If it happens to you, on Mac or Windows check and if necessary reset the permissions of the documents -> WWIIOnline and sub folders. Or use the fix described above.

Usually this issue occurs following an update from either Apple or Microsoft, bless they little hearts.

Cheers.
