This was supposed to have been ticketed eons ago, however it’s still here.

Shoot the truck even with out killing crew, blowing off tires or rendering the truck immobile… the gun will not fire.  It just stops shooting. It also registers the vehicle as KIA. I took one out for the first time in 10 month? Mb and that damn bug has not been fixed.
 

It was mentioned by me a long time ago, was told it was ticketed. Still not fixed. It’s broken. Please fix or remove all the light SPAA until it is fixed.
 

While you are at it, please upgrade the oerlikon. I have a brief memory it started out with the high ROF variant. Somebody told me Sunday after I [censored]ed about the bug and how shat the SPAA was, that the Betty WAS the high ROF variant. He had stopped using them because of the disabled gun bug a long time ago. I explained to him that it’s the low ROF oerlikon which he didn’t know it had been changed. His reply was, “ why do I keep paying to play this game… typical allied crap.”  I thought it was released with the high ROF oerlikon but couldn’t be so sure but this guy only remembered it being that way.  So if it was please put it back.

I rechecked this, killed/broke everything short of setting the gas tanks on fire, and I can't replicate

The light spa was released fall 2020, end of September I think. I have data files from 10/20/2020 that show the same RoF for the oerlikon as is in the current alpha that the vid above was shot in. So again, I'm not sure how else to help on this.

Damn I’m on a Mac. This was a ticketed issue when it came out. I had it happen to my SPAA in Dover at the end. IIRC nkelly got the kill on me. I got tinky123 in a ju88. However I could use my commander, my gunner swiveled no damage. I could drive which I did after I lost the ability to shoot then despawned. This btw I reported in the forums a long time ago.
 

As for the higher ROF I guess I dreamt it but having that convo made me think it might not have been such. Regardless the oerlikon needs the higher ROF variant. It really is a POS. I really do try to find out what f a POS is really one if I’m gonna [censored] about it. This is one, along with the wacky and p39 tb. IMHO it was a waisted resource as it brought nothing to the game. It still has the damage no gun work thing, anemic 20mm with a ROF that seems to be slower than the flak 30.

Oh can you check the flak38 gunner and shield coverage. I was in a blown flag building with a flak38 (badoilcan) 20 feet at most from it and I had a Thompson. He was facing the flag but i could see 90% of the gunner behind the schield. Emptied 2 mags out of my 4 from that elevated position and he blasted me. He then tried to blast Zeushammer. I cannot believe I didn’t hit and kill the gunner, friggen hit sprites made me believe he got ripped but noooo. I think either the gunners DM is small or the schield collider is larger than the schield. It is not the first time btw but usually I’m sniping at the gunners head.

Flak30 is slightly slower RoF with 20 round mags

Oerlikon has 40 round mags so a mag takes longer to finish that the flak30 20 round mag does.

The front main gunshield on the flak30 has a notch cutout  ┘ where as the DM has a triangle in that notch ◢

That is getting a ticket.

In all fairness the gun does have a shield,  imagine the surprised look on one's face when u empty a full clip of LMG into a camle pushing away and he deploys and still kills ya.

Or ATG guns taking AP HE rounds along with a full clip of turret MG and still deploy and return fire,  not diminishing your experience but these things are almost a weekly occurrence, shoot INF in the head nothing get him in the big toe he flops over dead.

That is the FlaK 38, not the FlaK 30. The FlaK 30 doesn't have a gunshield in this game
