Steam is different than downloading the game from the Websight. With steam you need create a new steam unique game name and use a different email than the one you used before. Go here, Download and signup to WWII Online. Download the game then launch from the shortcut and use your old user and password. If that does not work you'll need submit a support ticket Support by Cornered Rat Software (zendesk.com) to see if your game name is still available.

Hi,

As an old player trying to figure out how to log in, I must admit it's a bit confusing with all the new changes. The interface looks different from what I remember, and I’m not sure if my old credentials still work. If anyone has tips or a quick guide for returning players, I’d really appreciate the help. Just trying to relive some great memories here!

Look at active battles tab;   and you can type '.j name' to join someones mission.

Yes, lots of changes.

It's always nice to see longtime players coming back to classic games. Hopefully you're able to recover your account without too much trouble, since older games often have updated login systems after many years. I enjoy revisiting classic titles myself, and I've found that keeping older games accessible through emulation is another great way to preserve those memories. I use ps2biosbr as a resource for PlayStation emulator setup and classic gaming guides. Hopefully you're back in the game soon!
