You will have to have at least one other window open in the background prior the first so you can alt tab to start another instance. Perhaps starting the task-manager via ctrl-alt-del will do that too. Also putting an link into the task bar helps.

Hi Stewarta,
I do it almost every time I play ( Win 10 ).
As Slpr said, have your browser open, then launch instance 1 with Player 1's name.
Then Alt Tab to your browser and launch instance 2 with Player 2's name.

Only nusiance, is that you will have 2 IVCs ( unless you mute 1 ) that will kind of
disorient you as to who is hearing what.

Enjoy.

If you're out of gaming I have a pretty cool game you might like called block blast. It's a puzzle game with pretty simple mechanics. You just drag blocks and stack them to create the highest scores.

also recommend you set your CPU core affinity to each instance for better performance

how do you do that?

Open Task Manager - Details - Find WW2.exe - Right click - Set Affinity. Generally it should be using all your available cores by default. FWIW I haven't noticed any real benefit of forcing the game to use less/specific cores. Neither have I noticed any significant changes when setting a priority for the client (the option above Set Affinity)
