Also I see squad as squad colors and I can chat and recieve squad messages on squad channel but to them my icon appears as if I am not in the squad.

Same thing happened to me. A squaddie noticed my icon on map would sometimes appear not in squad colour.

Also, both he and I noticed my name was not listed in the squad tab at that time (I could access the squad tab without a problem).

It went back to normal after a game restart.
