Backwards shooting rifleman

For the last few weeks since patch, sometimes when I spawned a rifleman, my rifle would be invisible, and when I shoot I couldn't see where I was hitting. So today when it happened again, I noticed a bullet hole behind me. Shoot a couple more times, yup i'm shooting backwards.

And instead of invisible rifle, this time when I zoomed (right click) in I can see the butt of my rifle! Proof!

Or it could be that i'm ready to bash this unsuspecting frenchman's head with the butt of my rifle.

I had this once when I para dropped on a cp only to find my bloody SMG was gone. I could fire it but had no clue where the bullets were going.

Even when I can see my SMG, I have no idea where the bullets are going.

I've practiced at the range many times, but in game EI just laugh at me when they see I have an SMG.

I hate them.

lol. I recently ran into an ENEMY SMG while I was playing rifleman. We ran into each other, both dove to the ground, and while I was trying to aim he unloaded an entire clip at me at about 10 meters range and didn't hit a thing. Was that you?

I've done that too FFFFFFUUUUUUU!!!!

Ahhh ... not seeing this in any testing here, can I have all those who ARE seeing this update to this thread and I'll move it to bug reports and testing forum and ticket it.

No way it was me.

Whenever I have SMG and am in a situation where someone sees me I turn and run away as fast as I can zigging and zagging and hoping the horrible movement code lets me get to a building where I can despawn.

I only try to shoot the SMG from concealment, and then when the enemy rifleman turns and looks at me, and stands there raising his rifle to fire offhand, I run.

I'd scream like a girl, too, if there was a ".em" for it.

I have the same sort of problem, only my gun drops (during a mission)

I think this is the same problem as the gun doesn't render or at the wrong place.

Happens at different times, sometimes after 10 min but at some days i can play for 2 hours without having this problem.

Has been reported at least 2 times in the bug-forums.

When I posted it was to say that this is proving difficult (read: impossible) to replicate so those that are getting would be really nice to post what or how it is caused, ie: something to guide us into how to replicate it, because it isn't happening here, and we'd really like to see it happen.

"I get this bug" isn't helping us to get it. I haven't been able to see it yet at all.

It might not be what you're doing to get it (but it might be) ... it might be your hardware/software ... so system specs are also a useful clue to send our way.

I got it twice in Verdun Satruday night EST and once in Mont. Both AB missions as ML.

I was really frustrated with an ei 5' in front of me, I shot. *huh*>? ei turns and bam, dead.

Happened at least three times. I remembered it well, but didn't put 2 and 2 together until I saw this.

The fourth time it happened was also in Mont. ML on a depot miss (cant remember which one). went to guard the spawnable and when ei came in bam! nothing. luckilly someone else shot him. I rattled off a few rounds then saw they were firing behind me.

I respawned and it was back to normal.

Been here how long' date=' and I still don't know how to post system specs. Something to do with DXdiag.[/quote']

Start> Run> 'dxdiag' > 'save all information' > copy and paste contents of generated .txt to forum

This time I was on a long mission as rifleman, and about 20 minutes into it my rifle dissapeared. So I put on binocs to see what happened, binocs OK, but I brought my rifle up after binocs and it was pointing down towards the bottom of the screen. But if I zoom in (right click) my rifle would dissapear. I had to get a HT kill without zooming in, got a HT kill, so bullets are going where rifle is aiming. Then my rifle dissapeared again, so I put my binocs back on and off, then rifle. Rifle is aiming real low again.

The only parts of the DxDiag specs that really mean anything are the System Information, Display Devices, Audio Devices and System Devices. The rest can be deleted before posting here.

When I landed on my para drop I tried pulling out my grenade I think the very moment I landed.

You have the proto type french riffle that fires the correct dirrection for frenchman,

As they r running away they can now at least look like they r shooting back.
