I was at Sedan tonight, engaging in some not so hot rifle and rifle grenade work in the West Armybase (near spawnkilling :/), and then some more sporting sniping across the river. As town was secured, I hit ESC to despawn, and saw in all caps across the bottom of the bar CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIELD PROMOTION!

Then I clicked OK to despawn and promptly CTDd.

ROFL.

This was a promotion to 2nd Lieutenant, and I could just imagine some hard bitten old sergeant with a big grin splitting his face saying "Congratulations, Lieutenant!" and then rearing back and kicking me in the *** as hard as he could.

I wish every bug was that amusing. :)
