Test procedure question

I'm about to start the benchmark tests and don't know what settings I'm supposed to use in the graphics card control panel.

Should I just keep it as it is setup for 1.30 or is there a preferred configuration for these tests?

Set ingame settings to "Best performance".

Cato is asking about your VIDEO CARD settings, not your GAME settings.

We weren't specific about that because people vary them for different reasons. And we are not sure how many people mess with those. Generally, settings that improve performance would be better.

The important thing is to Not Change them - we need to compare apples to apples.

If after you have performed the benchmarks you want to change those and try again, please feel free. But please do not post them here unless there is something unexpected or unusual. (If you want, you can post them in Community Support, but we would still only be interesting in something strange).

Thank you.

I would also add that in general you should let he application run the settings and not the control panel.

but as bloo says we don;t care about your local settings as long as they are the same from test to test.
