In the above systems, all tests were similar in FPS with the first cheaper system only being a few FPS lower. The problem I noticed is the graphics card. I tested an X1300 and X1900 to see how they would do. Note the X1900 did no better than the x1300. Neither GFX card would render the trees in the game and they caused many buildings to appear as a NEON GREEN color. You can see the grass/clutter ok but not as far as the higher end cards. From what I've seen, the 2gb of RAM should be okay for most and the dual core CPU's at 2.6 should run the game since the single core 2.4ghz I tested did fine. I don't however believe the X1600 is nearly enough. I would recommend a higher GFX card even for the LOW end or new players with an X series card may quickly be disappointed with the game and how it looks. Even the lower HD 2k series cards will not cut it. IMO it should be a minimum of 3K series card for this new patch.

I use a X800 Series card same problem no trees around, green roofs and sometimes neon green walls, in the German forum there are also two user with a X1900 and X1950 with the same problem.

Below are the results from some testing I've done on these systems.

________________

System: Stock mobo, 2gb OCZ, AMD single core 2.4ghz, X1900, Vista 32bit

All card settings on LOW and game on best Performance...

Benchremagen test: 25

Benchvehicles: 12

BenchAntwerp:14

Shadows:

High:29

Med:30

Low:30

Off: 33

Cloudy test: 35fps

Raining: 28

Clutter:

Minimum 30fps

Maximum: 32

Conclusion: Could not test patch with card settings on high due to lags and crashes. With card settings on low and game on quality, the results were really low FPS and almost all buildings looked NEON GREEN and no trees were visible. Card settings and game settings had to be on LOW for the offline game/patch to be playable and even then the graphics were corrupt.

All card settings on low and game on best performance...

Benchremagen test:32

Benchvehicles test: 15

Benchantwerp: 18

Shadows:

High: 40

Med: 41

Low: 44

Off: 48

Cloudy: 48

Raining: 40

Clutter:

Max: 45

Min: 45

Conclusion: This system crashes constantly with "OUT OF MEMORY" errors. When I check the memory usage during the offline game the memory is often 60-80% when combined with Vista and when I do the ".bench" tests it often causes the system to crash. There are no graphics issues with this system due to the 4850.
