higher resolutions - not available anymore (affects 1.30 after beta install!)

Before installing the 1.31 beta I could select 1600+ resolution (and ran 1.30 at the 1600 X32). After the install the game only allows up to 1280 res.

Result is 1.30 now looks horrid compared to before and 1.31 is even fuglier.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled 1.30 (uninstalled the TEST completely) and I do not get the higher res options again.

Cant seem to find a way to uninstall the launcher... ideas?

Not sure about the available settings, or if they have changed. However you should be able to work around it and set them manually as follows:

Open

...\My Documents\Battleground Europe (for current version)

...\My Documents\Battleground Europe TEST (for Beta version)

Find wwiiol.xml and open it with Notepad (or any text editor)

Look for an entry that looks like this:

and change it to the settings you need for your system.

Thanks. I've asked others online in 1.30 and those who have not installed the beta tell me they still have the 1600+ res options, some who had beta did mention their max was 1280 though they played in lower resolution so never noticed this.

Hmm, we get these from your system. What OS, GPU and driver are you running? Also, what is your desktop resolution set to and what monitor do you have?
