the installer could not install some files in"/applications". Contact the Software manufacturer for assistance

my specs all check out and I have enough memory for the game

I don't understand... there is no log because its not ever installed... thats the only message I get before the installer closes

When you run the installer you get the dialog and it asks a bunch oft hings, then starts installing. _Before_ you quit the installer application (after it fails to work), go to the menubar and find Installer Log. A window opens with a popup menu at the top, from that pick All Logs. Copy the log information and send it to me.
