Also looks hideous form the air. Closer up the color changes to a bit more acceptable color.

Good enough for me. They're going to be lit weird wioth normals off, that's just how that has to be. Normals on (Hello 1997!) looks good though.

Normal maps are turned on in the settings. I will look into this more tomorrow.

I noticed the same thing - but I have some gfx and shader issues with 1.31 so I wasn't sure if that was the 'real' color of the trees.

Really hideous at that level of detail. This screen was taken with "max quality" settings, I'm not sure if that turns normal maps on or off.

Fixed on all accounts in my book. (thought the trees do turn to high resolution pretty close to you when your flying)

Yeah, now that we have some of the fps hit squared away we might look to push that out a bot more OR ... oh I dunno.

China beta starts tomorrow and we got a working host just today!!!
