Injury makes screen go completely white (v .38) (Mac)

Dunno if this is just me, just my vid card, just Macs...

I get injured with an injury that in live game makes my screen have the slight red overlay, and my screen goes completely white. Can't see ANYTHING.

Happens every time, and reproducible by jumping from a building tall enough to hurt but not kill you.

I tested using my own nads to injure myself, and also jumping from the stairs inside the church tower.
