Love the Gewehr 43, hate the M1 Garand

the m1 rear sight should be a blur when looking through it, that would be realistic, and solve the problem.

After doing a little more (unscientific) testing offline, I see now that the M1 does indeed have a much tighter shot grouping than the Gewehr.

Therefore I am about even on them now.

I can see the Gewehr being the better quick target acquisition weapon at short to medium range, with the Garand being the better weapon at medium to long range.

So I suppose it's just up to your play style.

both Springfields, the G.43 and Garand have incomplete dispersion data, the last stuff was checked in today, so you aren't seeing the correct dispersion behaviour in the current open beta release

Sweet.

What about the up and down sway of the older rifles compared to the American Springfield?

Are those going to change as well? Less up and down sway for all semi-automatic rifles?

yeah, line up a shot at 100 to 200 meters, the g43 shots off at a random angle. its not like shooting high and to the right or any nonsense, it just has a huge dispersion.

go try it, hell ill come in and you can shoot at me if ya like.

Fixed 1.34.0.25
