AEF

Awarded by the CinC, the Unit Gallantry Citation is the highest combat award that can be presented to an Allied unit. It is awarded to Squads whose extraordinary gallantry, determination and teamwork have devastated the enemy and greatly contributed to achieving Allied objectives.

for their actions on 19-22 April, 1942. as set forth in the following citations :

These two officers displayed extraordinary leadership both in map and on the ground during both battles. Their communication on ground throughout this latest enemy offensive has kept the Allies in the fight and allowed us to snatch victory from the jaws of almost certain defeat. In addition they have sacrificed a massive amount of time in game dedicating their services to the defense of France throughout this latest Axis offensive and in cases have not only held the line but managed stunning town captures and counter offensives offsetting the Axis efforts.

In addition the same must be said for allied player Catfive, whom in his short time back has been a rallying point for the allies, not only this he has happily accepted and utilized to its fullest potential the OIC function to bolster our ranks when the situation has been at its worst.

AEF lead the recapturing of THREE out of the FOUR Army bases in Brussels. In addition through the use of DFMS were able to recapture the critical linking depots allowing for the escape of the French 101r and allow continued reinforcements to enter the city leading to the final victory. Throughout the battle members of the squad not only led the way for every CP, but maintained communication rallying the player base from what would have been a disastrous route to an unparalleled victory.

I feel these past few days have been rather extraordinary and require proper recognition... The herculean defense defense and effort of the player base has begun to spin morale back around and I feel that it has been a turning point for the Allied side.

~ Hateract, Commander Corps De Cavalerie

The actions of these service members were in keeping with the highest standards of the military, and reflect credit not only on themselves, but on their countries and the Allied Forces.

Allies Salute!
