How come this got changed to 1st class?

Was supposed to be 2nd.

 

There are also extra letters in the award 'V2".

And the ribbon is incorrect for 1st class.

Does it really matter anyway? Its not like its on a personal record form or steam achievment.  Recognition is recognition.

Because they are awarded in order from 2nd class.
