Ok. With netcode2 turned off, best network route, affinity set to both cores and sse2 turned off i haven't had ctd on despawn for the last 7 hours playing. That was with 2 accounts running and lots of alt tabbing. Only caveat is that i didn't do much of heavy spawning despawning. Turning off sse2 seemed to be the key for me.

Can someone advise what i gain/lose with the sse2 option?

Recently i turned the settings to high (as my pc can handle that) and got memeory leaks

Returned the settings to best performance... but memory leaks continued

I can run COD4/COH fine with no drama, and after updating drivers etc i think i ruled out system.

I am now trying turning off sse2.

Any other tips?

i hve 4 gb ram and pager set to 2-6gb.

I had a strange memory error crash for the first time ever the other day.

Believe it or not the game feels smoother for me to play with sse2 turned off.

I've actually been playing WWIIOL on and off for several years and I've never had this problem.

However, within the past 30 minutes I have CTHL'd atleast 4 times. Possibly 5. I don't CTD at all. Maybe a few times total, but it seems CTHL is keeping me from logging in. It's becoming too much of a hassle now.

I asked the side channel and nobody else was having this issue. Funny, it used to be me who said I wasn't having any issues.

One thing I noticed was the sortie. I know for a fact that I killed atleast 3 EI. When checking CSR, my sortie was non existant. I also was never awarded the kills.

Not that the stats are a concern. It just makes me wonder if anyone else has this issue, because it seems to be more than just a simple disconnection problem.

Anyone else lose any stats of a sortie that CTHL? Or how about CTD?

Ok. my ctds have settled at the rate of 1 per 2-3 hours. I really hope this gets a look at in the 1.30 patch.

I have had several recently. Its typically while waiting for mission debrief that it hangs then ctd's. Then almost everytime when I attempt to restart and get to the population page' date=' I get disconnected from the server....follow that up with another restart and I'm able to get back in game. Not sure what is up. Was thinking maybe it was just me, but who knows.[/quote']

Same here exact same.

Is there anybody out there who is getting zero (or very very few) ctds with 1.29? Could you post some info about your comp?

(And no CRS this thread is not going to disappear from first page)

I get one for every 30-40 hours of play (on average). Of course, I am running the game on Linux, so my experience may not apply.

That's odd. That's an nVidia card. I have it and I run the latest drivers. Maybe a Vista difference since I am on WinXP.
