*** • Technically the way to win is to spawn in to the game as little as possible

This is probably the worst feature of all.

I sit out of game world at least half the time, just for that reason.

I spawn in only when I think I'm needed somewhere or want to do something.

Unless I'm guarding key FB or CP, I rarely stay in game for any extended period.

And yes, the 5 min update timer for SD / capture penalty is way to slow imo, 1 min or 2 min better.

*** It’s not 50% faster.

Probably not the best choice of word.

240-120 is a 50% decrease in time for the under pop side.

240-480 is a 100% increase in the time for the over pop side.

120 to 480 means the over pop side captures 4x slower.

We ever going to get the 'real' cap timer number, and sliding scale?

Because they surely are not as posted by rats from map 163.....

The simple truth is that if players who attempt to play during absurd OP periods and with captimers in effect, are squawking fit to bust, then cap-timers are at least partially doing their job. Madam, you are doing a great deal of squawking: thus proving the rats have it at least in the right ball-park.

Satisfaction on the part of OP players is not an indication of the system working.

Ergo, complaining about cap-timers is definitionally pointless.
