Download and install went fine on mac; but, it won't allow me to run it.

I keep getting this message:

“World War ][ Online” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.

I've tried changing settings, but still can't get it to open.

Did you double click on WW2BETA terminal button? That should then load up your application and you should be able to login okay. You should not be using your current WWII Online application (1.34.10).

Not sure what you mean, I downloaded it.

Opened the .dmg file (it verified)

Then just dragged the icon into my applications folder.

I renamed my first app by adding the letter R to make sure I could tell the difference.

So now I have to icons in my applications folder WWII and WWIIR. I can run the R one just fine (the original game); but when I click on the other one I get the can't open message.

Did I not install it right?

Ok, I found four issues in Offline mode;

1) German sniper has the pistol, but when I look at his clone; there is no holster or pistol on his belt; however, the SMG has a pistol and does have a holster.

2) American mortar man, looked at his clone; he is showing a holster with pistol, but he doesn't carry a pistol that I can select.

3) The US troops don't seem to leave bodies, where as the German one does. Tested again, seems most the times bodies stay between spawns; but randomly they don't show up.

4) The US mortar man rifle sounds like a French rifle???

Delems,

Try holding down the right Control or Option Key when you try to open it. If that does not allow you to open it:"

Goto System Preferences, Security & Privacy, General and select "allow Apps downloaded from; Anywhere.

Couple other things in offline mode:

1) Don't think the pak 38 looks any different.

2) Tried to CMD-H out, and come back - I saw the display for the game (no white screen) but I could not get game to activate or respond *** This is major and needs to work before release.

3) Seems the german FMB is no faster than before - though not completely sure.

4) Couldn't seem to test waypoints in offline mode.

Downloaded everything and everything is working fine but the Beta Server is offline. Not sure if it really is offline or that is just what I am getting.

Can only seem to run the new version offline by running the WW2 executable. Can't log onto beta server at all..

Offline version: (beta server is offline)

S35 texture looks weird, the front of the tank is really red (looks like the old version?) while the rest of the tank is the new beige colour

Panhard, vickers, cru 2 don't seem to have new texture.

Pak38 neither. Didn't test the other vehicles.

All tested in super low graphics.

Server is back online, it's been crapping out randomly, diagnosing why.

Mac Version:

Download utilizing the secondary server.

Select play online, accepts username and password. Found version 1.34.11.3.

Looks for the Patch server and I get the following error:

"We were unable to find a patch file for your version of Battleground Europe. Please visit the Battleground Europe downloads page for the latest version."

No Mac 1.34.3.11 Patch available?

Beta seems to work much better though.

Loading of game is really quick, while normally it could take up to 2 minutes.

Could even play on laptop with normal framerates but i'll have to check this with more people in beta as well.

If you are having issues getting on the beta server make sure you have the newest version that can be downloaded at the top of this thread.

I still can't get in with mac; tried many many times; keeps saying patch down load fails. Says 11.3 installed.

===

Did you double click on WW2BETA terminal button?

I have no idea what this is. There is nothing like this on my mac loading screen.

Only buttons I have are:

Play online

Play offline

Clear password

Settings

Web site

Read me or die

Offline does work.
